Tax Report: Method of Producing Tax Reports in the US
To generate tax reports in the US, there are a few steps to follow.
In the menu on the left, click on Accounting > Reports > Account activity.
Select the following information:
- Account from
- Account to
- Start date
- End date
Then click on Send.
Note: to generate specific tax reports, such as city or state taxes, the accounts to select are:
- 2430 - State sales tax collected
- 2432 - City sales tax
The report can be printed or converted into a PDF or Excel file.
Simply click on one of the icons in the bottom left of the page.
