CARFAX Management
When a client creates an account on the V15 system and accepts the CARFAX terms and conditions, we call your API at the following two URLs to authorize the account.
Basically, we send the following information:
- Name;
- Client's address;
- location ID that the client will be using on V15.
IMPORTANT: The location ID used by default is not the same as V14. We have added a place so the client can use a custom location ID when he signs up, but most clients use a new CARFAX ID.
After the sign up process, every night at 2 AM (EST), we send all the jobs made on the system to you on this FTP Server: data.carfax.com.
The name of the file dropped will be the location ID followed by _PROD_RO_ and current date (txt format).
This file is dropped for each of our clients that has CARFAX activated every night at 2 AM (EST).
