Adjusting the Quantity of an Inventory Product from the Point of Sale
To add quantities to inventory, first add the product to the sale.
Note: You can see the available inventory quantity for the product under Quantity. The available quantity is displayed in parentheses.
Option 1: Add quantities to inventory without opening the product file
Right-click on the product, select Inventory and select Add.
Enter the quantity you want to add to inventory and the reason (if applicable).
Click Send.
The inventory will be adjusted immediately based on the added quantity.
Option 2: Access the product file from the Point of Sale to add quantities to inventory
Select the product so that it appears in green and click on the magnifying glass to access the product file.
On the Inventory tab, click +New. You can add products to inventory in the same way as with option 1.
