Replace or Install Glasses with Insurance without the Insurance Module
To easily manage windshield and glass replacements and installations with insurance, we suggest creating a bundle.
This way, when you add together estimates, the required products are all added at the same time.
In addition, all the information to be transmitted to the insurer is also filled in the fields automatically. To do this, follow the instructions in the sections below.
1. Branch identification
Add the branch number at the bottom of your logo. For more information, see Logo Configuration.
2. Creation of windshield or glass replacement work
Create the following job in category 500 (APPOINTMENTS) with the inventory code and description below.
- JPB: WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT

3. Creation of Parts
Create the following parts in category 200 (PARTS) with the inventory codes and descriptions below.
- PB: WINDSHIELD
- KU: URETHANE KIT
- MO: MOLDING

4. Creation of note inventory items
Create the following note inventory items in category 90 (NOTES) with the inventory codes and descriptions below.
- DO: Opening date
- NP: No Police
- FROM: Expiry date
- DS: Date of loss
- NR: Claim number
- ACV: Authorization: Verification code
- PC: No Driving license
- NC: No Broker
- FD: Excess/Deductible (Enter a negative quantity (-1))
- EEPB: EXPERTISE – CONDITION OF THE WINDSHIELD
- Irreparable / replacement necessary
- Broken in the field of vision
- Repairable - Refused by the owner
- Repair attempt refused by the repairer
- Repair attempt refused by the owner

5. Creation of the windshield assembly
Create the following windshield set which includes all items created in 2, 3 and 4 with the inventory code and description below
- KPB: WINDSHIELD KIT

6. Insurance authorization message on invoices
If necessary, add or edit the insurance declaration message on invoices.
For more information, see Customizing an Invoice, Quote or Purchase Order.
7. Estimates and invoices
When you create estimates and invoices, add them together with the deductible amount.
Also include the estimate or invoice number as a reference.
